Chocolate Trifle/Choc Raspberry Trifle?

Teacher's Appreciation Day is Monday and we are doing sweets for the Valentine theme. I was thinking of doing some kind of trifle or something layered nicely in my trifle dish. I found some recipes for trifles (I know they are not the traditional kind) with brownies, kahlua, whipped cream and crushed heath bars. We have someone bringing a chocolate toffee cake so I was thinking more along the lines of Chocolate Raspberry...Anybody done anything like this?
