Chocolate Covered Strawberry as snack?

Are chocolate covered strawberries a snack on DDP? They are my favorite!!

According to the sticky above, chocolate covered strawberries (as a snack) can be found at the Main Street Confectionery at MK. (I will most likely try to confirm this myself when we go in June! )

I've used snack credits for those more than once at the Confectionery. The last time was in October.

In my experience, it has been two or three depending on the size of the berry. Enjoy!

Last Aug at Goofy's Candy Co in Downtown Disney I was allowed only one strawberry per snack credit. It wasn't tiny but not large enough that it should have counted as a snack all by itself, IMO. At least 2 would have been more fair, I think.

At the shop in HS it was only 1--it was large but not that large! Unles syou have an abundance of snack credits if they tell you it is one, I'd pay OOP for it!

yes. When I went in 2007 we could have had one at the MK main st bakery. I didn't get it though because it was only for ONE strawberry = ONE snack credit.



To say the least, I was not about to use my snack credit on one strawberry with chocolate. If it had been for 3 I might have said it was worth it.

Some of the things they allow you to use toward snack credit is ridiculous. I think it should be $5 or less on anything, period. It would keep me from having to walk around asking service members constantly -- is this considered a snack credit? Boy did I hate doing that during my trip....

At the MK, the strawberries are sold in the Main Street Confectionery which is the first store on the right side as you head toward the castle.

That was the Bakery not the Confectionery? We've gotten two large or three small at the Confectionery.

If something seems ridiculous, it's easy not to buy it. I'm glad there are so many choices now...when the plan first came out the choices were extremely limited. There are absolutely tons now. I wouldn't expect it to reach the $5 mark per snack.

As far as knowing what is counted, most are marked on the menu boards or in the cases with the small purple DDP icon.

I asked about this the other day when I was in DTD at Goofy's and it was 1 choc. covered strawberry for a snack credit so instead I opted for the pretzels and some fudge.
