I became addicted to these on my last trip. These are the ones that are not traditional shaped, more rectangular. I got them daily at The Mara and also found them at Tusker House.

Does anyone know where else I can find these?

I had one at the Main St. Bakery in the Magic Kingdom in January. They are yummy!:thumbsup2

If I remember I pretty much seen them in alot of places almost anywhere you can get a pastry. Food courts at most resorts, bakery at MK and Hollywood Studios..They are one of my fave for when I just want something light and sweet for breakfast..

These are my favorite!! I have gotten them at Boardwalk bakery, Beach Club Marketplace, Starring Roles at DHS....and perhaps breakfast buffets at Crystal Palace and Cape May. Could go for one right now - don't know why it is so hard to find these out of the world,!!!

I feel you!!! I fell in love with the cheese danish at POP a few weeks ago, and since I've been home have tried every cheese danish I see. None compare though.:sad2:

:goodvibes Yeah! Sounds like I wont have to hunt too much to find them!

I wonder if the Crystal Palace has them? Its on our "next time" list but prob not breakfast....

Ahhh, staring rolls. I could move right in there and nosh every day. (Very good!)

I know what you mean.. The cinnamon rolls at Main St bakery.. Better than any cinnamon roll on or off property.. The ones around here..I dont even touch..

Ahhhhh....chocolate croissants....they are everywhere in WDW, and the same all over. This one is from Main Street Bakery 2 weeks ago. I usually get them also at Starring Rolls in DHS & the bakery in France at Epcot.

Oh, TaraPA, thanks for the pic! It all looks yummy.

Maybe I'm going croissant crazy but it looks different that what I remember. Mine had mini chips of chocolate, no chocolate striping or powdered sugar. I think it was more elongated too. All I know, is I just need to have one right now! :worship:

These are the ones from the Main St Bakery - they are right after the everything bagels...I have to dig out my pics from my November trip, I know I took a pic of one there too. Now I'm curious to know what YOU had, if it wasn't a chocolate croissant!

Ok here are the ones from the bakery in France - Boulangerie Patisserie - no powdered sugar or chocoalte on top - but I don't remember chocolate chips either!

Thanks Tara, but still not it! Did I dream up these wonderful creations? :cloud9:

I think I need to board a plane and go solve this mystery in person....:goodvibes

This was driving me crazy so I went looking for photos of Boma, figuring if Mara had them so would they. I hope its okay to post this link to a review!

If you scroll down its the trio of pastry baskets. Choc chip croisssants in the middle. They are kinda twisty, not puffy like the Epcot ones. The choc chips melt & ooze slighty but you can still tell what they are. The Mara had them listed specifically Chocolate Chip Croissants not just Chocolate Croissants. I never saw them anywhere else except for Tusker House Breakfast.

Yeah, there are at least two varieties.
France's Pastry shop has chocolate croissants (my preference)
Captain Cooks at the Poly and I think also Starring Rolls at DHS had the chocolate chip ones.
