Oh very cool!! Thank YOU!!!! How long does it stay good? And can I ask where you order the beans?

Gosh I'm not sure how long it stays good for, I'd say a year or more! I ordered the beans from beanilla dot com. I got their beanilla beans and the madagascar beans. From the smell of it the beanilla beans smell a lot better I think

I ordered little bottles that I will pour it in and give with my baked goodie baskets at Christmas.

Just make sure to strain the vanilla once it is done sitting for a few months to remove the beans/parts. Enjoy!

I have to agree about the Ghiradelli (sp?) chocolate chips; I bought them once and the family was unimpressed, so I went right back to Nestle's

I'm still in the race! For the next round I'm going back to Nestle chips. Everything else will stay the same. The Plugra butter was a BIG hit!

Yay! I find that to be the key in my baking.

We prefer Ghirardelli chips though.
