I have been reading the posts about all the incredible treats people have discovered and I enjoy reading about the favorites. I have never had a dole whip and can't wait to try a layered margarita. As a serious chocoholic, I have been wondering what kinds of awesome chocolate treats people have had while touring the parks. I have heard the bakery at Norway has a great chocolate cake but what else can I look for on my coming treat. Please share!

I love the Beaver Tails in Canda with the chocolate hazelnut sauce!! Tastes like Nutella! YUMMY!!

I love the chocolate eclair and the chocolate mousse in France at Epcot. Also, if you can find a frozen chocolate banana at MGM or Epcot (off the cart), those are great. Earlier someone recommended the sundaes at Ghiradellis--I think on the BW. I haven't tried those yet, but I have seen that over and over.

I second the chocolate eclair and the chocolate mousse. In fact we always stop here before illuminations for our snacks. Germany also has a candy counter and we have sampled their chocolate as well. England has a good selection of candy from across the pond.

I can't believe no one has mentioned Mickey Bars! This is the ultimate WDW treat.

I like my cakes to be extremely moist and fudgy. Prior to our last trip in Dec, the best I had was at the Gourmet Pantry (no longer there with the sandwich shop). This last trip we tried the chocolate cake from the Main Street Bakery in MK. It was incredibly moist and fudgy - we had another piece on our last day and will have it a time or two on future trips for sure.

I believe that Ghirardelli's is over at Downtown Disney. Beaches and Cream is probably the ice cream place that you are thinking of, which is over between the Yacht and Beach Clubs. :)

Mmmmmmmm, Flake! :)

The Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake at the California Grill is pretty darn good! ;) And the chocolate chip cookies from Main Street Bakery are always a winner! :D

Back around the Millenium, the Rose and Crown was serving a Guinness Beer chocolate mouse in a Spaceship Earth chocolate shell. I'm not the biggest fan of beer, but it was very good! :teeth:

Layered Margarita's are in an outdoor counter by the cantina.

Mmmm Beaches and Cream! The No Way Jose' sunday is great!

Our must have chocolate stop is a crepe in France. It reminds me of days I have spent walking in Paris. There is a small kiosk right next to the one that serves Champagne where they make crepes. You can order whatever you like on it, there are several choices, and all are made fresh to order as you wait. There was a long line last time we were there! One of us goes to get champagne and a table while the other gets the chocolate crepes. OMG, warm and chocolate oozy and good. I think they also have fruit ones too, or you can put strawberry or raspberry or something on your crepe, but I wouldn't know about that..... :p

I should have known there would have been a link for this. Thanks to all for your suggestions. I can't wait to try all (well maybe not all) of your suggestions. Afterall I'm only there for a week. Then again, can I have chocolate at every meal?

Ghirradelli's is at DTd and definately the best chocolate shake I have ever had in my life.

One of the reasons we've added Coral Reef to our list of upcoming meals was because my mil insists their Chocolate Wave cake makes the entire meal worth any cost!!!
