What does this mean exactly? Sorry, first time there this time of year. We are set for Magic Kingdom on the 12th for MVMCP and on the 13th for a park day.

Here's the thread where people are discussing this parade taping. Main thing I got from it is the main street will be busy but ride lines can be low because people are trying to see the taping. There will be an alternate path from the gates to the back of the park so you don't have to fight the main street crowd (there's a great map on one of the pages). The christmas tree will not be put up until after the taping because they don't want that in the way of filming.

I think I'm losing my mind, I have done like 6 searches but now I can't find the November ADR cancellation thread...I have been loving this chit chat thread so much now I can't get back to the other one...what?
I'm sadly planning to drop one of my 2 ADRs b/c I don't want to shell out the cash when my kids will probably not notice any difference from that restaurant (Boma, breakfast, first day there) and their "Wahoo! Restaurant food!" attitude we will see no matter where we eat. Bummed, but DH and I figured out we will get that same reaction and possibly a calmer eating experience eating at Pop for breakfast. womp womp.

I just go to the Home Page and click restaurants. From there I click Dining Reservations and then click November ADR cancellation thread.

I have been searching the boards here, and checking the Disney website for 'Ohana breakfast - not trying to coordinate an ADR, just wondering if anyone had luck asking the concierge when they check-in? We are staying at the Poly. Thanks!!

I got one off the cancellation thread link posted above.. have seen several the last few weeks there will be more. Also a CM told me Ohana opens up a lot the week of your trip and also after you arrive to just keep looking and asking. Sending you some pixie dust hoping you get one I know for us it was a BIG deal my daughter LOVES Stitch takes her plush everywhere with her.

I have some questions about Whispering Canyon Cafe...we're doing this for lunch on our last park day (which is our longest MK day too, so should help break up the day some), special lunch for our DSturning10
I've never eaten here but the food sounds AWESOME. Can someone explain : --is it priced per item, or all-you-care-to-enjoy? I guess I saw both things on the menu but someone told me it's a buffet that the servers will bring to you. (what?) From reading the menu for lunch, it looks like there's a Skillet meal that is all you can eat, but guessing that can't be shared (no big deal, we can order 2 or whatever for the adults), is there anything else that is served in this manner? We had one other ADR (Boma) that I just dropped because I decided to be a realist about taking our 5 kids through a buffet line and DH and I never eating and also...not all the kids can carry their own stuff...just felt like it would end in frustration not full bellies! I just am super excited about this ADR and since it's our only one at this point...any other "at the park" meals will be QS and we have a LOT of PBJs etc in our future.

From what I understand there are some regular menu items and a couple of plates that are all you care to enjoy. Also milkshakes are all you care to enjoy. Also bring your sense of humor from what I hear.
