I gave my DH sharing on ME about 30 minutes ago. He has managed to change all the FP to various things that do not take into account kids heights or ADRs or distance. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

You're in the minority. My DH just says "I trust you so plan what you think is right". If I left the planning up to him, we'd have no ADRs and have a FP to Stitch's Great Escape at MK.

so with the parade taping, is it worth it for us to consider the MVMCP on the 12th? do you think the party will be affected by the daytime taping? we haven't bought tickets yet, but I had gotten kind of attached to the idea of my first christmas party.

Apparently, numerous late night CRT and BOG reservations opened up on several non-party nights in November. I arrived late to the "party" this morning to scoop one up and did not see any except for one 10:55PM reservation for CRT that would have accommodated 8 on 11/14.

Did anyone manage to snag one of these for 11/11? I'm just wondering if that's one of the dates they added late night dinners to. I will be heartbroken of course to learn that i miseed it, but maybe it also means there is more opportunity to pick one up if someone drops it.

I think because the November park hours got extended for a lot of nights they extended restaurant hours as well. If the MK is open later on 11/11 that is was before Disney extended November park hours than CRT probably extended it's hours that night as well. Keep checking people grab them quickly and may not be able to work the reservation into their plans. I would also check lunch time if that is an option for your schedule. I saw a CRT lunch today for the beginning of November. People who wanted a dinner might drop a lunch they had!

11:30 was the latest on the Friday we are going in November. Looks like lunch starts at Noon.

I would like to start by saying 11/11 will be my very 1st day at WDW! WHOOHOO! lol So in my head for the last oh 28 years I pictured arriving at Disney World and getting lost at MK seeing the castle but thinking it may not be best. - So I have reading some of bloggers and crowd prediction calendars they all predict the same thing for MK 11/11 from the what I have read CRAZY TOWN. Most are saying Epcot is the way to go.. Below I am going to type of what we have planned and what I am thinking of doing instead. IM A BABY 1ST TIMER if my plan sounds bad just tell me.

-Plane lands 10:45am
-Go to the resort on magic express if room is ready takes some stuff up
-Head to MK
In my head I will arrive in MK between 12pm and 12:30
-The Plaza 1:15
-FPS
-6pm Tony's
-Electric light parade and fireworks.

That is the current plan on 11/11

I am instead thinking about skipping MK 1st part of the day. Go to Epcot go to Akershus for lunch between 1-2pm IF I get a ADR hasn't happened yet. If we don't get it then see if we might get Pixie dusted or whatever yall call it by the desk ppl or someone. If nothing comes up can't get in then graze at the food and wine or do a QS. Hang out in Epcot till 4 or 4:30. THEN head to MK for the electric light parade and fireworks. If any of these times I think are going to happen are NOT going to happen PLEASE let me know I am delusional. We are almost there!

On another note we will have another day and a half in MK for sure. Also 2 other full days of Epcot 11/12 & 11/15- MK is the 17th half day afternoon then Christmas party. Then all day the 18th.. which we have park hoppers so we can always change it up to some degree ... though we are upgrading to deluxe so we haves LOTS of ADRs. If anyone would like to look them over I would LOVE some constructive criticism! lol

Depending on where you are staying you might be cutting it close to make it to your 1:15 ADR at the Plaza. IMO it seems like it always takes longer than you think to get anywhere in WDW so if you do end up going to Epcot first give yourself plenty of time.

If you are not landing to close to 11, I don' think you will make it to the park by 12-12:30. I would think it would be closer to 2. So I don't think your 1:15 ADR will work.
