Hi. hoping someone with experience or access to the current schedule can help.

With daylight savings time in effect, when will the Chip 'n Dale Campfire start each night?

We had made dinner reservations at the Trails End buffet for 6:15 ... figuring about an hour for dinner and then a walk over. I read that it started around 7:30, but with the time change, I wonder about that now?

Also, how is the walk from TE to the campfire site? about how long would it take? Do you recommend another transportation mode?

thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I don't know the start time, but the walk will likely be 15-20 minutes. It's about a half mile along well paved sidewalks. Waiting for a bus could take just as long...or even longer as the shows lets out in the Settlement Area. An Outpost Yellow would be your bus to get closest to the campfire. Although Outpost Orange might be about the same, but to the other side of the meadows area.

It is not getting dark in the Orlando area until about 7 pm now, if that helps.

I generally look at the Build a Better Mousetrip web site for the campfire times and information:

I take the bus from the Settlement to the campfire & movie area (located near the Meadows Trading Post and Bike Barn area) rather than walking.

With 6:15 dinner reservations, you will be missing the Chip & Dale portion of the evening and the cowboy sing along if it starts at 7:00 p.m. but you would be o.k. for the movie which starts at 8:40 p.m. Extra time is left between the sing along and the movie because Chip & Dale walk around and take pictures, they play a short pre-show movie, and they give people time to buy snacks from the chuck wagon.

It might be difficult to get good seats depending on how popular the movie is but a lot of people who come for the sing along leave before the movie starts.

If you come to the campfire area about 30 - 45 minutes before the sing along starts, Chip & Dale usually come out to play a simple game with the kids and taking photos -- they go back in about 15 minutes before the show starts. It's not announced but is typical.
