Chip & Dale

We really liked the food at Storyteller's but weren't impressed by the character experience. Chip and Dale were there, but Dale never made it to our table in almost 1 1/2 hours. We did tell our server that Dale was our son's favorite and mention that we had been overlooked, but it didn't help. The characters that did stop by our table were very rushed in their interactions. We were last there in February and probably wouldn't return for the character meal.

We had a much more positive experience in April at Minnie's breakfast in Disneyland. The food was just ok...get the omelets, that helps. The characters were plentiful and very playful. We saw both Chip and Dale and at least 7 other characters. I believe Chip and Dale are at that meal most of

the time. You can always ask before paying for the meal.

I'm sorry to hear that- they along with Meeko came along multiple times- lots of hugs and play time.

Yeah, maybe we were there at a bad time. :confused3 We had been once before several years ago and felt the same thing at the time, that the food was good but the characters were very rushed. Our last visit in February was us giving it another chance. Oh well. We've had better character experiences at Minnie's. We like to eat at Storyteller's though for special occasions so usually choose to go for non-character meals.

We're at Disneyland right now....yesterday Chip & Dale in their "cop" outfits were at Town Hall......and this morning they were at DCA's Disney VISA meet and greet in their regular outfits (tie and collar) . We didn't go over to Disneyland today but they were there a few days ago as well, so likely regular.

If you have a Verizon smartphone, you can download a free app that is official Disney wait times and includes a "where can I find character". It tells you where and the times as well.

So I asked at the information stand when we arrived at the park on Monday, and was told that Chip N Dale weren't on the schedule at all for that day. DS(3) cried. Serious disappointment. I guess we'll have to try a character breakfast next time.
How shocking! We went two weeks ago and couldn't get away from the pair. It seemed like we saw more Chip and Dale's' than all other characters combined! LOL. I'm so sorry you missed them, more accurately, that your son missed them. :guilty:

I have to admit I too was surprised to read OP's comment that Chip and Dale weren't out the day they went. We usually run across them a couple times a day during our visits. They always seem like the characters that are easiest to find. :confused3

Over the years we've seen them at Goofy's Kitchen, Toon Town (hanging out by the tree house) and DCA... I want to say near the redwoods play area, but I don't remember exactly?

Our Toon Town sighting was nice because there was hardly anyone around and instead of being a long line cookie cutter photo op they really got to play with the kids who were there. Very silly and the 3 or 4 kids present got a special memory.

Great...sounds like we were the ONLY ones who DIDN'T see them!

There is only one solution. We must go back again soon!
