Hi!

Leaving for Gatwick soon!!! :cool1:

I just got a new Barclaycard today. I usually use my Tesco credit card (to get clubcard points) I havent learnt the PIN for my new card, but was wondering if I will need it for my trip.

Do they use chip and pin now for CC purchases in USA? They didn't last time I was there (September) but thought it might have been introduced there now.

Any ideas?

Thanks

They did at a few places in December, off the top of my head Target and WalMart. I had to memorize my number before we went but at least I know it now everywhere over here is getting Chip & Pinned ;)

You should take a Nationwide credit card with you because they do not charge you for transactions like all the other credit cards. Normally other companies charge something like 2% per transaction so if you get a Nationwide one you can save yourself some money. We have just applied for one for this year's holiday.
