Chip and Dale's campfire

Thinking of spending a non-park evening at FW for Chip and Dale's campfire. We'll be there in February so it will start about 6:30 or 7:00, right? Will this work:
Arrive around 6:00
Grab food from Chuck Wagon and get a spot
Do the sing along and campfire
Catch Electric Water Pageant around 9:30 - is this near the campfire, or will we need an internal bus?

I've never been to FW. I know it's huge so I don't know if we can easily get to everything. Anything else we should do while we're there for the evening? I'll be in a conference during the day, so I don't know that we could arrive much before 5:30 or 6:00... (I already ruled out Hoop Dee Doo and Trails End dinner)

We went to the Chip & Dale Campfire for the first time this Fall. As I recall, the staff didn't light the fire pits until half-hour or so before show time. And the chuck wagon didn't open until around the time the fires were lit. Someone can correct me on the timeframe. So getting there extra early won't give you extra time for food and fire. You need to take the Orange or Yellow internal bus from Meadows Trading Post-Recreation area to the beach (Pioneer Hall bus depot). But the bus is very quick. You'll have a great time -- guaranteed.

We did the Chip and Dale campfire for the first time in late July. The firepit area is behind the Meadows Trading post so you will need to take a bus. The water pageant is seen from the beach so you will need to catch the bus back to the dock area. They acknowledge birthdays and have games with the kids. Chip and Dale spend a lot of time with each group. Its very low key and a lot of fun. They sell the stuff for making smores or you can take your own. I didn't think the Chuckwagon had a very extensive menu. I know that Trails End sells a family chicken dinner that you can take with you. We have eaten it outside on a picnic table. You might look into that choice.

(For scale reference, from Outpost to Settlement is approx. 1 mile as the crow flies or about 1.3 miles if you were to walk the path between the two.)

If you get there early enough, you could hit Trail's End To Go and grab something. If you have time, you could grab a table in the Settlement area or the beach and eat. If not, take it with you to the campfire.

If I can jump in, if we're taking the boat from WL can we walk from the dock to the campfire or should we catch a bus?
