OK. I am totally confused! I really need to know which is which. My DD seems to remember being told by a CM that Chip has the Chocolate chip nose. She took this to mean the brown nose. I always thought Chip's teeth were apart and Dale's were together. On another thread I read just the opposite. Once and for all, Which is which??? Thanks to all who reply! :earsboy:

Chip has the chocolate chip (brown) nose. Dale has the pink nose.

And if you want to really rile them up, call them by the other's name. Chip really takes offense to it. :rotfl2:

Yes, Chip's the one with the brown nose. :)

here is a picture of them - the easiest thing to remember is not the color or teeth but that Chip's nose is actually shaped like a chocolate chip -

I found this picture on the web -have no idea who this woman is

ETA: images do not seem to be linking right now

Chip has the "chocolate chip" nose and the straight teeth. Dale has the reddish-brown nose and the gap in his teeth.

It seems the confusion stems from the fact that some folks think a chocolate chip is "brown" and some think it is "black" or "dark brown"--and they think Dale's nose is "brown"--while some thinks Dale's nose is "red or reddish brown", etc etc!

If you really look at a bag of Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate chips, the chocolate chips are a very dark brown nearly black--so, Chip's nose is the smaller, dark one--while Dale's nose is the large, rounded, bulbous light reddish brown one--which while it may be a color we refer to as "chocolate brown" on occasion, is most definitely NOT the color of chocolate chips--it's more the color of milk chocolate candy bars perhaps.....

OK, have I confused you even more? LOL

Here's another way to look at it: Chip has the little nose and "little" teeth, and Dale has the big nose and "big" teeth. Hope that helps a little.

Also, Chip's eyes are fully open, Dale looks a little sleepy.
