chip and dale kind of funny

Just back from WDW a couple of weeks..

we had done a few character breakfasts, and when we would go, would talk about what characters would be there.

Last night, in the car with my 6 year old, and a commercial comes on the radio for the deer hunter's widows 'chippendale' dance show.

My 6 year gasps and says "there's gonna be a dance with Chip and Dale! But not Mickey, Minnie or Donald"

Thought that was kinda funny

Aw that's cute. I also love when the kids would mis-hear song lyrics. When DD was in the losing baby teeth stage- the song "Little deuce coupe" was my little loose tooth.

When DH is stressed out at work he will sometimes say he wants to go back to his former job as a Chipendale. Ha ha-he never really did it, just likes to be funny. But my standard answer is, "Honey, I didn't know you back then, so were you Chip or Dale and wasn't that furry costume really hot?"

About 15 years ago I worked in an office next to a girl about 30 with 2 small kids (I was about 19). I remarked to her to go check out another cubicle because someone had a Chippendale calendar. She remarked, "Oh I love Chip and Dale, my kids do too." I told her she needed a life !! (Of course, I have now turned into her)
