Does anyone have a clipart of the Chinese characters for "Happy New Year"? I'm doing an adoption album for my friends (who have recently adopted a chinese girl) and this will be their first CNY together

At least I will be when I get round to it We're not going to see them til August so I may even finish it in time

I just came across your thread b/c I was looking for Disney characters dressed up in Chinese costumes and this thread popped up in my google.
I just got done printing some coloring pages of the Chinese characters for my son's class. They are celebrating in school on Monday. Here's a link. It may help you:

We normally say the 2nd for the prosperous new year. It says it's cantonese, but my mom speaks mandarin and that's how it's said. The first is the literal translation for Happy New Year. Was that confusing?

So, I am also looking for Disney characters in Chinese outfits if anyone as any.

I found some Chinese New Year with Mickey and Minnie if you want to use them for the book. Here are some symbols I found to use for the candy wrappers I'm making. I'll post pics when finished with the wrappers. I also used some Mulan designs. Good luck with your book.

Hope you can use some of them.
