Chinese food for Easter?

I'm alone this year. I was going to get some yummy prepared pot roast on Easter from my grocery store, but they won't be open.

Are Chinese restaurants open on Easter? We go there for Christmas Eve, so maybe I'll feel like DH is with me if I'm there on Easter.

Do they ever close? I was surprised to learn recently that they are open on Christmas Day too, not just Christmas Eve.

Feels a little pathetic having Chinese for Easter, but it doesn't feel like much of a holiday being alone anyway.

I imagine Chinese places are open for Easter, they are at Christmas right? At least they are in A Christmas Story . Give 'em a call so you can plan ahead. Now if they deliver, you're in business!

I think that's what we call Chess Pie. Yummy.

Someone posted a recipe for chocolate eclair pie here on the DIS the other day. That's our Easter dessert. We'll have leftovers!

Would you be able to pick up the pot roast on Saturday? We are bringing both homemade and store-bought items to our family's Easter dinner and will be picking the pre-made items on Saturday.

YES!! I know for a fact that Chinese restaurants are open on Easter because we had to order Chinese one Easter.

I had probably the worse flu ever. It was terrible. Two of my sons were coming home from college and I could hardly even visit with them. I always do a big Easter and had to cancel. DH is a CPA and Easter fell smack in the middle of tax season.

So in the true spirit of A Christmas Story we ordered Chinese. Funny thing is my older kids think it was the best Easter dinner ever!!!!!

A lot of chain restaurants are open on Easter Sunday, I'm sure you could find one local that is open and order out (I know Craker Barrell is open).
