Day Eight Thursday 21st September

Today was our 6 year anniversary. I thought SeaWorld would be a good place today as it had a slower pace then rushing round all the rides at some of the other parks. We arrived and got our map etc and found out that they werent doing the Believe show as they had a new baby killer whale so they were just doing a 15 minute show to introduce the baby.
We headed to the bakery first to get breakfast then rode Atlantis, which I thought was great, then Mike went on the rollercoaster but I chickened out. We went to all the exhibits and saw all the shows and I thought they were all great.
They were only doing the Baby Shamu show twice that day so we went to the first one and turned up really early to get good seats. We sat in front of the camera man thinking that must be a good view and it was plus the show went on for 45 mins rather than the advertised 15 minutes. They did some tricks and you saw a video of the baby being born. The baby swam around and they also gave you info on baby killer whales such as even though they can swim at birth they have no control and so have to stay by the mother at all times as her wake guides the baby.

Late in the afternoon we rode Atlantis again a couple of times and went to the Dolphin pool. I vainly tried to stroke a dolphin but I just couldnt reach. Mike with his long arms was touching them left right and centre but none would come close enough to me. I finally managed one quick touch and a second with only my nails. So I left a bit disappointed by that.
We headed to Downtown after wed left and got some food in Wolfgang Pucks. I tried the meatloaf never having had this before. I thought it was ok but prob wouldnt have it again, the sauce and mash it came with was lovely though.
Next we went to my favourite shop and shared an ice cream.
