Day Five Monday 18th September
Cast:
Claire (Me) - Initiator, planner, over excited one
Mike Goes with the flow
Now at first wed (well Id) planned to go to MGM today but as the Lights, Motors, Action stunt show was closed till the 20th (and Mike really want to see this) we went to Universal today.
We went straight into Shrek 4D which was great and then I met Donkey (he called me sugar) and Shrek himself.
Headed over to the Mummy ride next which Id ridden in LA last year so I was looking forward to it a lot. Stowed our bag and valuables in the free lockers and then went in. No queue so straight on with the CM saying See you in the next life as we left, and it was just as good as the one in LA and everyone clapped and whooped at the end. There was still no queue so after putting our stuff into another locker so we didnt get charged we rode again.
Then I saw the fake tattoo stand so decided to get one, DBF said it was the quickest $8 hed ever spent.
Throughout the day we rode all the big rides and saw all the shows. Was a bit disappointed in a few things but only met one big queue and that was for Jaws as we arrived there at opening time, 11am, and everyone else seemed to as well.
Went to the Hard Rock Café for tea in the City Walk, bought a t-shirt and got a free lanyard with a guitar badge on it, then had a wonder round before heading back to the hotel for an early night.
