Chilly marathon

Cold and windy in Orlando this AM!

PixieMagic just called in from Orlando (there on business) and said "It's freezing!" OK, to a desert dweller that is! (It is supposed to GET UP to 60 degrees.) When she walked into Starbucks in scarf and mittens the clerk said to her "At least you're not running in the marathon""

From what I hear, that could be considered a tad warm.

I am anxious to hear all about the experience of those participating.

I want to hear about the 1/2 marathon also so I am adding my name to this thread.

PixieMagic called while I was out this evening and left a message that she talked to some of the 1/2 marathoners today.....but I can't call her back till the morning !!!!! So, hopefully, I'll have some info to share tomorrow, tho we may have some of our people who were there posting by then too.

She said she saw a lot of lime green tee shirts as AKL.
