That is my PSA for the day. I have been hearing bad news left and right. My dd's friends 50 year old dad died in his sleep the other day, my best friend is battling leukemia, the list goes on. In a matter of seconds your whole world can turn upside down. Don't sweat the small stuff. Don't look for drama, don't choose to be offended over every little slight. Look at the big picture and be thankful for all you have.

Stepping off of my soapbox;)

Would also appreciate some good thoughts and/or prayers for my friend. She has a really tough battle ahead of her and her family.

I hear ya, I have had enough bad news too. It seems the older we get, the more "yucky" stuff happens.

Sending good thoughts your way.

Sending every good wish to your friend for strength and full recovery.

Good news? I walked a sweet little boy to school today. We ran a bit (that's enough to make the birds laugh) walked rrrrrreeeaaaallllly fast for a bit, and talked about sand hill cranes and how big they are, and if it would hurt if they "bit" us.

It's a beautiful sunny day, with a nice temp (high 60s) and no humidity. AND, it's Friday!

Good news is little savories on the journey through the day, eh?

Your Friend and your dd's friend's dad will be in my prayers. I'm wit DVC~OKW. It's friday. Fall colors are peaking in my neck of the woods. I'm picking up a new puppy for our family on Wednesday and I'm going to WDW. Ok so I'm not going to WDW for 10 months but all the same all good reasons to "chill out"!

Thank you guys. I'm trying hard to keep it together. I have her kids most days and at least that helps me feel like I'm doing 'something' for her, you know?

We are lucky to have each other. She would do it for me in a heartbeat. Now I'm off to get her littlest guy from pre-school. Thanks:) I think we'll go to the park!

I know how you feel. I had part of my lung removed a few months ago because my breast cancer had spread. Last night, my mom calls me and tells me that the doctors think she now has lung cancer; she is waiting on tests now and is scared to death (she's never been as strong as I am).

It does put things into perspective.

have fun. Don't forget to look at the trees. The colors are beautiful today.

I'm so sorry that you are going through this. I will say some prayers for you and your mom if that is ok.

, Wow, I am so sorry to hear that. I pray that it is not the case with your mom. I also hope that you are not in too much pain from your lung surgery. I know how painful those can be.:flower3:

Thank you so much. That post made me cry. It might be the 2 key lime martinis I had;) but seriously that is a beautiful sentiment and means a lot to me.
