child's snack credits on QSDP?

I can't for the life of me remember these 2 things: 1)can a child get any snack that an adult could? (or do they have specific snacks for kids)
and 2) does a child's QSDP CS credit also include a separate dessert--at the places you order a child's meal--for example Cosmic Ray's? (or is that adult's only?)

Snacks are snacks (there is no adult vs. child)
They also get dessert with their meal which is often an ice cream or a cookie.

The dessert options for kids meals are not anything like the adults. My dd did not like that AT ALL when she was a child on the DP. I would usually end up letting her have my dessert (or we would share) so she wouldnt feel so slighted when her parents and siblings were all eating some delicious cake or pie and she could only get a hard cookie
Thankfully she is an "adult" now and she is excited about her options being greater for food and dessert.
The snack credits---those are foo for anything that qualifies---and doesnt matter if it is a kid or adult. There are so many yummy snack options

A snack credit is a snack credit. There is no difference between child and adult snack credits at all.

In general, a child's CS meal at Disney is made up of an entree, and then they can choose two "sides" from a list. Be aware that Disney's rule is that one of those sides counts as dessert, if they would like a dessert. You will probably find some "dessert" items like chocolate pudding or a cookie on the list of "sides." Remember that your child has to choose one of those as a "side" if they want a dessert. They can't choose two sides and then get a separate dessert.
