Not to be a downer but this one looks just like the one I ordered from JCP last year around this time that lasted only a week with a 10 year old using it.

Ahh..I'm going to take it as an omen. With no name brand and no way to look up reviews and pp comment about quality, I'll pass. Also think it's odd that it talks about a 512 mb sd card....can you even buy those anymore? My daughter has an mp3 player that will only hold up to a 2gb sd card and I am finding those are fewer and far between...

Yeah.

I asked, because mine is being shipped, and she said I will get a notification a few days earlier. Not sure on shipped to store, you can call and ask.

I actually know someone that was telling me about the deal this morning. She got one for her son a few months ago for his bday and he loves it, so she just picked up this deal for her niece. Guess that's at least one good review.....

I was told that Penney's will call when it comes in.

I had 4 in my cart and was getting ready to put in payment and it says it's unavailable now..I"m on hold with customer service..too much demand i think...

ETA: they are out of stock online, but check your local stores..they are available in store as well, but not guaranteed for that $9.99 price...i didn't have any luck..the store near me wanted $39.99 each

I just ordered one at about 4pm cst...no problems what-so-ever except for the back order. Now I just hope it arrives in time for Christmas!
