Coincidentally, the last day of my family's 2016 trip is going to be my son's 5th birthday. In 2014 we were there shortly after his birthday, but not on the actual day. Is there anything special available to him on his actual birthday or is it treated the same as an 'almost birthday'?

You can get him a Birthday button at Town Hall. When making an ADR on my husband's birthday (surf's up) I made a notation and they came out and sang him happy birthday.

It's treated the same. To see it in a happier light, when it was NOT his actual birthday, he was treated as though it actually was his birthday. This year it's the same :)

Oh yeah, I completely understand. Just wanted to make sure we weren't going to miss anything because we didn't know.

Make sure he visits Red over in Carsland with his bday button. The fire truck will play a short version of "Happy Birthday" with his horn. My son still talks about that!

They treat all almost birthdays & actual birthdays the same. Have fun!
