I feel that since our son is 11, we will be paying adult prices and fully intend to purchase tickets that way. However, others are in charge of making some of the arrangements for our trip including the hotel ressie. When it was booked, we got a phone call and was told we have a 9-yr-old, don't say anything.

Will it matter in this case? Do they charge more for the room if the kid's older? I don't intend to have him lie if someone asks him but in this case, perhaps I should plead innocence and let the hotel assume what they want. If they ask, I will tell them other family member got the age wrong. Would that be a way to go on this?

Now, mind, this is only the hotel, not any tickets or breakfasts or anything. Don't want to get flamed here... :goodvibes

He is still a "child" for the hotel. Doesn't make a difference!

Majority of the hotels are "under 18 free". So I don't know the hotel your at?
