I have seen this on the boards previously, however, now I'm asking questions about it for myself.

My parents are now Florida residents. I remember someone mentioning having a grandparent purchase a child's ticket (AP's specifically) & getting their Florida resident discount for it. Has anyone ever done this & has it caused a problem.

We bought our adult AP's before the price increase, but now I'm wondering if we shouldn't have just gone & bought the child's AP's also. We had planned on letting my parents get them, but I always get nervous about things like that.

Anyone out there done this?

I'm not positive, but I think I read the grandparent must be attending. Are your parents going with you?

Yes, my parents will be meeting us there. Do the children have to be with them in order to purchase the tickets?

not to purchase in advance, just at the gate (i believe).

I was going to have my step mom's father do this for me, but they would not be attending and I feel REALLY dishonest doing this. Guess it wouldn't have worked any way.
