Has anyone had a child older that 9 order from the children's menu? My 11 year old is not a big eater, and I just can't see paying the price for a full meal. :confused3

At many of the CS restaurants, the adults in our group would order from the kids menu since that is all we wanted especially for breakfast.

We didn't try at TS.

Yes, my oldest son almost always orders off the children's menu at WDW because he's such a picky eater (think mostly mac & cheese and chicken fingers) and doesn't eat much, and it's never been a problem. That's not at buffet restaurants, there anyone 10 and older must pay the adult price no matter what they eat.

If you go to fixed price place, buffets in particular, you are stuck with the adult price. If you go to a place that has a menu then you can almost always order off the kids menu. For instance my son is 11 and ordered off the kids menu at Kona, Sci Fi, San Angel and Le Cellier. At Chef Mickey's, 1900 Park Fare and Liberty Tree Tavern however he was charged the same price as dh and I. I think it stinks, I can see charging an 11 year old more than a three year old. But how about a "junior" price for the 8-13 age range? It still irritates me to death that we paid full price for him at Boma where he ate some fruit and a zebra dome.
