Children's menu and "for an extra $2..."

On a few menus - I think Whispering Canyon might be one - they list the children's menu and then suggest that they'll add a $2 upcharge if they wish to order specific menu items.

So here's my question: On the DDP/DxDDP, if there's an upcharge, is that covered on the dining plan?

I'm thinking that the skillet for kids is something like $2 more. Do I have to pay that OOP, or is included under the DxDDP?

They do not charge the extra for kids' meals on the dining plan.

Thanks, Nala. I'm not sure you understood my question...or maybe I'm not sure I understood your response.

On the DDP, my son's meal would be covered. But what about if we take an option with an upcharge? The upcharge is still covered?

Thanks for the clarification.

Yes, it's covered, they will not charge you the extra $2 for the child's meal if you are paying with the dining plan. Understood it perfectly.
