Children's dining plan

We are using the child's dining credits for my child. I know he needs to order from the children's menu but have a couple of ?'s hope someone can answer.

Re: Table service, some have children's appetizers and desserts on the menus I have looked at. If there isn't a child's appetizer or dessert is there definitive info. on whether the child can order from adult menu selection ?

yes your child gets dessert for CS, and they can order whatever they want for appetizers as there are no children's appetizers!
The dining plan is awesome - you will love it!!!

Not to complicate things, but while this is the way it is working for people now, the official answer is that children get to order off the kids menu, period. If there are no apps or desserts on the kids menu, they don't get to order one. Several of us have emailed the question to WDW and received this answer. As i said, though, Dis members have indicated that the CMs are allowing apps and desserts. I wish the answer was more clear, especially since we are going in 2 weeks, but it seems that the real answer is you have to wait to see what happens when you arrive! Have great trip in any case!
