Been reading these threads for a long time! First trip to Disneyland with three small children(4,4,5) and have a question for all you pros: my kids tend to rise very early in the morning...5:30 am usually. We are in a two hour time zone difference in Texas and am trying to decide how to prevent my kids from falling asleep at 5:00pm California time and waking up at 3:00am! I have some ideas, but I would like to hear from all fo you! P.S... they normally go to bed at 7:30(really doesn't matter when they go to bed, they always wake at the same time-5:30).

My kids are exactly the same way (4 1/2 and 3). Unfortunately, I can't complain, because I was the same way as a kid.

We are going in a couple of weeks and I have thought about this a little bit. Personally, I guess I have figured that kids will be so tired at the end of the day (from both fun and lack of good nap), that they will just crash. As long as my kids are moving, they will want to stay awake, so maybe keep them in the parks a little longer than you had planned. Also, I have found that if it is really dark in the room (Those nice dark curtains in the hotel room should do the trick), that they sleep longer.

Not sure if this will work, but I will let you know.
