Children on Bay Lake Fishing Excursions ?

We'll DH finally made a WDW request. Yeah we leave in 3 days - go figure.
My DS age 11 will love it. My DD age 7 - not into fishing, but......

We were able to reserve a Fishing Excursion for 7 AM - yes - the wee hours fo the morning - for Fishing on Bay Lake. $210

Anyone done a Fishing Excursoin ?
Did you brings your kids along ? What were their ages ?

Good for non-fisherman to just sight see from the boat ?

Should we wear our jackets at 7 am ? or will it be warm enough for t-shirts / shorts ?

Please help ! I start packing and need to know if I should bring
something extra for fishing in Florida.

My DH & DS will fish. Myself and my DD will sight see.

I haven't done a fishing excursion but I did look into it for DH. It will probably be warm enough on land w/o a jacket but maybe not on the water. I don't think it will be interesting or fun for anyone who doesn't want to fish. Maybe this could be a guys only thing and DD and you could do something else.
