Children in Universal island of adventure

My family and i are off to orlando very soon and i was just wondering if there is much for a 3 year old to do in universal island of adventure park. This was being built the last time we came back in 1998 so we dont know anything about this park. I would be grateful if any can give us any infomation on this park.

hello

my son is 5 & there were rides & characters to keep him occupied

seuss landing;
the cat in the hat ride and the one fish two fish ride, the carousel, if i ran the zoo play area

marvel super hero island;
there is a convoy of characters that come around, ie.. spiderman, hulk... my son did get on spiderman but was kind of frightened & wouldn't get on again (3D ride)

toon lagoon;
popeye & bluto bilge rat barges(tame water ride where you will get very wet) me ship the olive (water play area) there are also lots of cartoon characters, ie. woody woodpecker, poeye, betty boop...

i think universal studio's had more to offer for little kids but my son still had a good time of IOA

We took DS when he was 2 and 5. As mentioned by the previous poster there are good rides in Dr. Seuess lad in IOA.

In Universal Studios the curious geroge play area and flidel's playground are great.

Thanks for all you help my DS is really looking forward to going, I also have a DD who is 2 going on 5. It all sounds great fun havent been since 1998 so getting excited now.

At IOA you can easily spend 2 hours at Camp Jurassic with the cargo nets, amber mines and the slides that are there. Plan on some time there. How did I forget the water area there too.
