Children Flying BA?

Hi there,
I'm just packing hand luggage for ds1 who is 5 and am trying to decide what he needs... we have flown with virgin before but never with BA and I'm wondering if they do a kid pack and if so what come in it?

My DD is older - she was 10 when we flew BA last year. But no matter what airline we flew when she was younger, I always made up my own kids pack for her for the flights. The ones they give out used to cause more trouble than nothing at all because they would issue 3 (THREE!) crayons and coloring in sheets in it and there was always something that needed a color that she didn't have

I used to go online and print out coloring in sheets and get a pack of crayons and some snacks and things and put them into a little gym tote for her, which she would then use for her towel when we were at the pool once we got there.

It's a Paddington Bear pack. Just a few bits of colouring if I remember correctly. It's in a cute little suitcase thing, and may have a small story too.

I've already stuffed his bag full of bits and pieces, so wasn't relying on the pack, just didn't think there was any point doubling up !

I must say, I missed a trick with this one - didn't know it was Paddington!! Now I'm gutted I didn't ask for one for myself last year. Going to check BA prices for next June

Tee hee! It's been Paddington for a good few years now. Fingers crossed they keep it for a while longer and you can get your pack!

We flew with BA in May and we didn't have anything with Paddington in the kids pack. The kids got a BA drawstring bag with a sticker/colouring book with a cat in it, a toothbrush kit and that was it!

We flew with BA in July and that's what our DD got, too. We flew with them in March 2012 also and didn't get anything Paddington Bear themed then either.

Well we shall wait and see, but I won't hold my breath! Mind you anything new is exciting when you are 5... although if it hasn't got sweets Ds might be less interested. He does like stickers though.. which is a good point - not sure we have put any in. Need to rectify this!

We flew BA a week ago and didn't get anything for our two 5 and 8. Maybe they had run out!
