Children at Sci Fi?

Do they serve children's meals in glow in the dark frisbees? I think I read this somewhere. How big are the portions of chicken nuggets? Is it really dark in the restaurant?

I think they have a dessert that comes on the glowing frisbee. The restaurant is dark, but not to bad. However, the movie trailers that they show could be scary to some kids. They are all the giant spider, colossal man, aliens from the 50s type movies - you and I would say they were hoaky - but to a little kid, they could be too much.

My son is 7. He LOVED the old movies! He was amazed! My 2 year old was also intrigued by the movies, but she didnt find them scary at all. Id say chances are your children already watch stuff MUCH scarier. I wouldnt sweat it. Its fun.

We were there in Feb. 05 and my kids ordered off the kids menu and got no frisbee but we ordered them soft drinks with the glow ice cubes. We asked could they get the milk shakes because we heard they were good with the ice cubes and they said no. My kids didn't order the nuggets so I can't say how big they were. My youngest son was 3 1/2 and didn't think the movies were scary at all.

We WERE allowed to order milkshakes on the DDP. I got the cookies and cream. (I assume you meant you werent allowed to get them "on the dining plan".) If so, then it just goes to show, the cast members are the ones keeping people from getting the drinks they want. I was tempted to just order it and see if it showed up as free on the plan; and pay for it if it didnt. Especially after we were told 3 differernt things at Pop Century.

Yeah, we got a glow in the dark frisbee when we went to sci-fi last but that was a WHILE back. Like 4 years ago.

No frisbees anymore. We ate there twice in August and unfortunately no frisbees.

Just returned about two weeks ago-I did not see anything about glow in the dark frisbees-just the glow "ice" cubes.
Our waitress asked my son if he wanted the "regular" size order of nuggets or the "bigger" size-at no extra cost. He has a really appetite yet it was far too much for him to finish.
It is dark, but not scary-but it is a bit tough reading the menus!
