Are kids allowed in the Carthay Circle lounge? Reviews point to grown up atmosphere; just want to make sure kids are welcome in the lounge (though of course CA law prohibits them from bellying up to the bar!)
A Cast Member told us about a kid "wine" flight of sparkling ciders -- anyone experienced this either in the restaurant or the lounge? Thanks!

It is a grown up atmosphere, but children are allowed. They do have a children's menu for the lounge.

Oooh, I love the sound of that sampler of sparkling ciders. Has anyone tried it or at least seen it on the menu? I would want to drink it as much as the kids.

Children are absolutely allowed. DD16 and I waited in the lounge for our table upstairs, DD12 & DD16 came to find us in the lounge when we were relaxing with DBF's parents, a family with 4 kids came in as we were leaving and had no problems being seated and served.

Our two girls have definitely enjoyed themselves there, but I had no clue about the kids' menu! My girls are sparkling cider fanatics!!!

I don't know about children, but *I* didn't feel allowed for the 30 seconds I was in the lounge. Me and my t-shirt and jeans with cameras all over the place among those having drinks and $19 bowls of noodles. Not my scene man.

I was in there in my jean capris with holes in them, tank top and lanyard. Phone on the table, with my company dressed the same. We sat in there for about an hour, enjoyed 4 drinks (1 each, the Mojito was very good) and 2 small plates (warm olives are so good, try them! and the watermelon with mango sorbet....YUM!), felt absolutely completely, 100% welcome.

Yes, children are allowed there, but keep in mind it is a "fancy restaurant" so they might become bored quickly without crayons and the like.

I really like the lounge. Their sushi is awesome, and I found the food better there than when I had lunch in the restaurant itself two weeks ago. As for dress, it's a restaurant inside a park so they expect park attire and do not blink an eye against it.
