Childcare at FW yes/no/maybe? Safe?

We will be at Disney from 5/5-5/11. Would like to go out just me and hubby one night. Have kids age 8 & 10. What safe options do I have for child care, if any? Would like to also hear from some people who have had experience with the care Disney provides. Also what is cost $$? Am staying at FW in a fifth wheel.

We haven't used it, but we did peek in the windows at the Childcare at the WL (Cub's Den?). Everyone appeared to be having fun. There isn't a childcare program at FW, unless you use a Fairy Godmother. Check WDWIG for more information.

You can get "in-room" sitters, but your kids might enjoy the kids clubs more. WL would be good because you can get a bus straight to FW from there; another good option may be YC if you're going to be hanging out at the Boardwalk.

When my kids were smaller, we used the Poly's Adventure Club....it's Peter Pan, etc. They offer a buffet and give you a beeper so if they need you they can beep ya.
They also have arcade games, video games, arts and crafts and other fun activities for the kids. (my kids at that time where 4 and 9). It was expensive...but they had a good time and I felt very safe leaving them there.
