Arriving at Disneyworld on Sept 15th, child turning 10 on Sept 21st, child or adult ticket? Does a child need picture identification? Are children scanned along with the adults? :confused3

From what I've heard on here, the only thing that matters is the age of the child at the beginning of the trip. I would buy a ticket for a 9 yr old. :cool1: (wooo-hoo I just noticed this is my 100th post! :cheer2: :yay: )

Child ticket; no pic id; kids aren't scanned. Buy the longest (10 day) non expiry childs ticket that you possibly can as Disney will upgrade it for free to an adult pass when your child turns 10. We just did this last year for our twin girls. The ticket must have at least one day used in order to be upgraded for free. Have fun!!
