Child swap

My son is *just* under 48", probably over 48" with shoes. He does NOT like thrill rides and therefore I would prefer that he be considered under 48".

I'm wondering if I tried to use child swap on Rock N Roller Coaster if they would measure him to confirm that he was under 48", and thus too short to ride? I'm wondering if they will deny me a child swap pass if he is barely over the 48" with shoes. Or possibly it will be dependent on the cast member.

I suppose if I was really concerned I could have him take his shoes *off* before being measured?

Depends on the CM. The website states it's for kids too short OR too scared, but in practice it's been kids who are too short.

Could you just stagger your FP if this is the only ride you're worried about?

In our experience it totally depends on the cast member. DD was about 38 inches on our last trip, so we used the babyswap on a few of the 40 inch rides. Most of the time they didn't measure her before giving us the babyswap, but a few times they did.

If he is too tall, one option is to have everyone get in line. When you get to the front, just tell the CMs that you want to use the chicken exit for your son. Depending on the CM, they may let you wait with him and then just jump back into line after the other adult comes back. No guarantees though.
