We will be travelling with 5 year old and 2 year old and were wondering how does child swap work?

You go up to the CM with your family and tell them you need to baby swap. They give you something like a fast pass and you go with your five year old in the normal line and when you get back your husband or other adult in you party goes in the fast pass line while you hold the baby. Your five year old can go back again too.

You can pull FPs for the attraction and go in the FP line first if you want to, then use the baby swap pass for the other part of your group.

Yes, because rider/baby swap is for attractions with height requirements - you need a child too short to ride, (or sometimes one too afraid to ride?) so that child wouldn't be allowed in the queue in the first place.

There's info on the wdwinfo.com site that indicates some rides you can't do rider swap. Anyone know if that's the case? DH and I are headed to WDW in January with DS who will be 9 mon old. We'd like to ride Soarin' and Test Track, but neither are listed as rider swap rides.

We have child swapped on basically all rides- ask the cm. We have been very happy with all the swaps- and very helpful cms. With 5 kids there have been trips where it has saved the day
