Child swap/rider switch question

We have been to Disney World numerous times before and love the child swap option. We are a family of 6 and this year only our youngest will be too young for most of the rides, meaning that we will have 3 kids and 1 adult riding while the other adult waits with the youngest. I just read that the child swap ticket is only good for 3 people. Is that true? If so, one of my other kids would have to sit out on the second ride with parent #2.

Most rides actually do not have height requirements so you can take the youngest on and ride as a family. But yes those that have rider swap would be limited to three people

Thanks for the info! I'll change some fast passes around then. Maybe the two little ones and I will go visit characters while hubby and the two big girls ride. Then one of the older ones can ride again with #3 and myself with the rider swap.

Sometimes when they see that you have three children who can ride, they'll let 4 people on, but not every time. I wouldn't count on it, but it's a nice surprise when it happens.

We rotate out which children get to ride, and those who don't frequently end up getting a small snack while others ride. Or I take the baby and non-riders to a nearby ride. It never ends up being a really big deal. We have some children who are tall enough for some things but not everything, so I do try to let the youngest ones who can ride go again on the rides with a low height requirement.

Just to clarify, there is no age requirements on the rides. Only a height that must be met. There is no such thing as too young as long as they are tall enough. Unless the parent thinks they are not mature enough to handle a ride.

Yes, I am aware of the height restrictions, I misworded my original question. My son (2) is only tall enough to ride the ones with no height restriction, plus the Barnstormer. Daughter #3 (4) can ride most everything except for Space Mountain and a few others. Daughter #2 (8) can ride all but Rock'n Rollercoaster, I think. And my oldest daughter (11) can ride all of the rides. We have used the rider switch option on previous trips, but this is the first trip that all 3 girls are tall enough to ride the majority of height restricted rides, so we had only had one adult and 2 kids using the swap option last time. I had originally gotten fast passes for all 5 of us (DS still doesn't need them since he is only 2), thinking that all 3 girls could ride with me again using the rider switch. Since only 3 are allowed to use the return rider switch, I have changed the fast passes for rides with the height restrictions for only DH and DDs #1 and #2. I got nearby fastpasses for character meet and greets for myself and DD #3 during that same time. Then she and I can ride using the switch pass with one of the older girls while DH does something else with DS and the other girl (DD #2 is usually happy to ride only once).
