We are a family of 4 that will be visiting this October. My daughter is 9 and not very brave with rides at all-my son is 15 and cant wait to ride it all over and over again!

If we use child swap-would my son be allowed to ride twice-once with my husband and once with me?
So-if we all get in line together and my husband and son ride and I sit with my daughter-will my son be allowed to ride again with me while my husband stays with my daughter?
We will be staying onsite and have Express passes so if the lines are short we may just wait outside on a bench and take turns at each ride but I just want to be prepared with it being our first trip-I'm not familiar with UO policies :)

Yep, that's what we did! Our 6 year old would ride sometimes and then the next time on the same ride, he wouldn't want to. Not a big deal with express passes and the rider swap rooms. They are air conditioned, have plenty of seating and some have cartoons and movies playing. So convenient! Both of my older kids were able to re-ride with the parent that sat out the first time.

Another confirmation here. Four people waited in line, four people get to ride. Even if one of those four people is repeating back-to-back rides.

The other nice thing about child swap was that we did not have to use the lockers for Forbidden Journey or Gringotts. We just let the TM at the front know that we were using rider swap and we got to bring our backpack with us. Rip Ride Rocket also has rider swap, just ask the TM at the front. You have to take an elevator to the top platform. We didn't even attempt to bring our 6yo through the Mummy line so I don't know much about their rider swap.

If one of the kids might be afraid of the queue, talk to the attendant at the front of the ride....they will generally let you access the child room swap by the ride exit instead. A parent and child will wait there while the rest of the party goes through the regular queue.

Terrific info. How have I never known this?

It wasn't really an issue before, but the Kong queue is causing some problems.
Oh that's great to know about Kong! Bringing my 2 year old and was a little worried about the queue! Thank you!
