Child Swap Q and Clarion Maingate experience?

Hey all, I am new in here and full of questions. This is regarding the child swap. If DH and DD8 go on the ride, then I swap when they are finished, does DD8 get to go on with me, going 2x?? Secondly, has anyone stayed at the Clarion Maingate? That is where we are booked, is it just a 10 minute walk or so to DL and is there a grocery store nearby?? THANK YOU!

Yes you can take your 8 year old on again.

A guy I work with swears by the Clarion. I havent personally stayed there. I believe it is near the convention center, so probably more like a 20 minute walk, if I had to make a guess.

The Clarion is over at the Convention center. Its a pretty good little walk. My boys and I stayed there on our last trip and we were there 8 nights. The rooms are a decent size but i think the beds were only doubles. The rooms did have a micro and fridge, which came in handy. The pool was decent and so was the staff. We didnt try the restuarant even though they offered a free childs meal with each paying adult. The house keeping did a good job and they had already done our room when we would come back in the afternoons for a nap and a swim. The bathrooms were a decent size as well. There was also a table and chairs in the room.

On the down side, they charge for parking, including short term company you might have. We have relatives that come and visit us when were in Anaheim so the parking fee was very annoying to me.

On the good side they are on the path of two different ART shuttles which makes getting back and forth to the park pretty easy (in my opinion).

I would stay there again if I were only going for a few days. I didnt book with them for this next trip because were going to be staying for a longer time and I was looking for a place that offerred free parking and free breakfast.
