I read they have a child swap similar to Disney. Here's what I was thinking.

Would it be possible for us to walk to one attraction, show our kids, get a child swap fast pass (or whatever they give you), then before DH enters the attraction go to two other attractions, show our kids, get the child swap FP before entering the attraction?

I'm thinking that way he could do three attractions w/ his father while I go play w/ the girls.

That way we could be free to do our own thing w/o having to wait for them to get off each ride. Then switch and have father-in-law watch kids while DH and I experience the attractions.

I'm not sure if they will allow us to use the child swap in that way.:confused3 Anyone know?

you all go in the line to the ride together.
you let the TM know you need to use the child swap

you are sent to the child swap room at that time.
the good thing about universals child swap program is that the family is allowed to stay together.
when the others get off the ride, the one that stayed behind with the child are then allowed to go on the ride without a wait.
even the ones that rode the ride the first time, are allowed to ride again with the other adult after the swap has been done.

i know nothing about a "fast pass ticket" for child swap.
i think that is just a disney thing.

universal has express lines but that is for hotel guests and those that buy that express pass plus.
if you are a hotel guest, you can always use the express lines for the rides and attractions.
when you are at the point to get on a ride, let the TM know you are doing the child swap.
or let the TM you see at the beginning of the line you are using the child swap and you will be directed to the room.
the other adult can continue in the line then.

have you checked some of the other child swap threads?
they have a lot of information in them.

if i have the time today, i can pull up the links for you.

Thanks that really helps. I did do a search and was surprised at the wealth of info. It does sound completely different than Disney. I didn't really like the idea of making them wait in a line for ride they would not experience but I do like the idea of air conditioned room w/ chairs to wait in. We'll see how it goes.:goodvibes
