Hi all I am getting married in October and there is only myself, partner and 2 kids aged 5 & 7. I am worried that they may get a little restless and start interrupting the ceremony and photos and Disney run a tight ship on timings. Can anyone recommend anyone who can come to the ceremony and photos after to just keep eye on kids or am I panicking for nothing as I know that the ceremony is not that long

Thanks in advance

You know your kids best. Can they stay still for a while if you have stuff for them to do? Make sure they aren't hungry! I thought there are babysitters available, maybe it's only in-room sitting.

Disney has some preferred vendors that can watch kids in a room or other location during weddings--I've never heard of one of those chaperons going to the wedding to watch kids while the parents get married. It may be an option? I'd suggest talking to your planner.

We had five kids in our wedding, three girls and two boys, I think the oldest was 7 or 8 at the time. My wife has three much older brothers, all have kids. We had the girlfriend of one of the brothers watch the kids during the ceremony. Apparently they got a little restless but she kept them quiet pretty good I guess, they were in the front row and neither my wife nor myself noticed anything.

i have asked my planner and they recommended kids nite out which I am using them for when we have our bridal portrait session but im pretty sure its just in room sitting. I have emailed them but just thought I would ask what peoples experiences were. My kids are very good and will sit down but we are having it filmed so im worried they may start just asking questions or get bored and start to wander off :confused3

Well, hopefully a Kids Nite Out person can come and sit at the wedding to watch them (near the end). It sounds like you're having a small wedding though (Memories?)--so you may want to ask your planner if that makes a difference on cost, given the guest counts. I'm not sure if the babysitter would count as a guest.

yes i am having a memories wedding and there is only 4 of us so wont matter if sitter counts as 1 as you get 6

I did a memories vow renewal in March and had Kids Nite Out come to the ceremony to watch out 7 month old during the ceremony and during pictures. I just told them it when I booked the sitting service that I needed them to be at our event and it worked out perfectly.
