DH and I are looking for a good harness for our very independent 13 month old. Problem is we can only find the ones with the stuffed animals on them like a back pack. We feel that especially for where we live those types are just not practical. All we want is one with straps and no fru fru nonsense added. It doesn't have to look cute just keep my kid safe.

Anybody know of one like I'm looking for? Or do these simply not exist any more?

I bought the ones for my nephews (twins who never ran in the same direction) at Target or walmart but that was 12 years ago. LOL They were basic straps with a leash, I never would have been able to keep backpacks on them.

1. They would have wanted to carry the stuffies

2. They were both little heaters and would have sweated to death.

Found the one I had, only it was blue

This is exactly why we don't want the stuffed animal type!!!

We will definitely look into these thanks!
