Do any of you DL regulars know which DL hotels have child care clubs or services? :confused3

Any information (pricing, reviews, activities, etc) about this service would be appreciated.

TIA:)

The Grand Californian Hotel has Pinocchio's Workshop where they will watch children 5-12. They take a pic of you and your child, and keep it so when you come get your child they can match the photo to you. Also, you'll have a pager in case they need you to go back.

Off the top of my head I'm thinking $14/hour, but not sure. If you go to the FAQS sticky thread at the top & look up hotels, then go to Grand Californian, I have pictures of the interior of Pinocchio's Workshop. with some notes.

My kids, then 5&8, did Pinocchio's Workshop in GCH in Aug '06. It was $13 per hour per child and they had a great time. I believe dinner is an additional costs, $5 if i remember correctly. It's open to guests of all 3 DLR hotels. There was an arts and crafts table, a computer for games, and some toys. I don't remember everythinbg they had. My kids dd enjoy it tremendously. If there are fireowrks that night, they take the kids up to a special viewing of teh fireworks in a top floor of GCH to watch. They also pipe in the music for fireworks. My kids have continued to ask to go back on each trip thereafter, but we've been going with my niece who is 4 and too young to go so they haven't had a chance to go back. Ibelieve they'll only take kids between 5 & 12 yo. Hopefully we'll put them back in PInocchio's for our trip next year.

We used GCH recommended babysitting company last year (Sitters Unlimited, I think), as our kids weren't old enough for Pinnochio's Workshop. I thought it went well. I guess my kids did too, as when we went back to GCH this year my 4 year old son asked "where's my Disneyland babysitter? " when evening came. I said we weren't having a babysitter this year. He was disappointed.

He remembered his babysitter a year later and wanted her back -- pretty good endorsement, I'd say :rotfl:

grizbuzz / victorandbellasmom - thank you for your help.:)

Mary Jo - I found your info on the FAQ's list - thank you! :hippie: Your pictures are lovely, too!:thumbsup2

DD will be 6 when we visit DL, so she will be old enough to get into Pinnochio's Workshop. Now DH and I can plan a little as to what we're going to do on our own - coasters/shopping/a "proper" meal - so much to choose from!
