Does anyone know if the baby centers have smaller toilets for toddlers? My dd is scared of large public toilets (she's fine with household toilets) b/c of the size and auto flush. I know I could cover the sensor, but she's already scared b/c her sister flushed one once while she was on it. I was planning on bringing her travel potty, but I don't want it stolen off the stroller since it looks like any bag that might have valuables to a thief. It really would be cumbersome to carry with me everywhere.

Also, where can I find a map of where these baby centers are at?

Thanks!

My dd4 was scared of public toilets for the same reason, and we played a little game to get her over it. Every time we went somewhere we would go in the bathroom and flush some of the toilets. At first I would flush them and dd would hide around the corner, but then she got into it and would flush them herself. When the toilet would flush I would say something like "whoa that's a big flush!" to make it more fun than scary. After awhile she wasn't scared of the flushing and I would make a big deal out of letting her pick which toilet she wanted to use when we used a public bathroom. It took a couple of weeks using every public bathroom in town, but it is so much easier now that I don't have to worry about whether she will freak out in the bathroom.

I don't remember seeing small toilets in the baby care centers, but I might not have been paying much attention.

When DD was 3 and newly trained, we just brought one of those folding seats that you can place over the opening of the "big" toilet. This worked perfectly for us both at the parks and in the hotel bathroom.

Even if the baby care centers do have small toilets, you may be at the other side of the park when you're little one has to go.

I have seen a small toilet in the MGM babycare center and I believe MK has one too but I'm not sure about AK or Epcot. I agree with the pp though, it isn't terribly convenient. You might want to invest in one of these .

Also, bring along some post it sticky notes to put over the electronic eye while your dc is using the toilet. This will prevent it from self-flushing prematurely and scaring your kiddo...

hth.

According to magictrips, there are child sized potties in all the baby centers. I can't post the link since this is my first post.

I researched this because my daughter was having the same issue. I was very relieved to find that there was child sized potties available if needed. Thankfully, she's gotten to the point where she'll use a public potty but I've got to flush it after she leaves the stall...lol. :rolleyes1

I'll definitely remember to bring post-its so that it doesn't flush on her unexpectedly since the last time that happened, she wouldn't use a public toilet for a month. :guilty:
