Child car seat rental question

I have a reservation for my car rental with Alamo. I am also renting a child's car seat with it. My question is, can I still take advantage of either on-line or kiosk check-in? Or do I need to go to the counter to get my car seat? This is my first time renting and needing a car seat and not sure how the logistics of it works.

The seats are kept in the garage. You can use either the online or kiosk, it does not matter regarding the seats.

Not sure if you know this or not but most airlines will allow for you to bring your own car seat as long as it is FCC approved. We did that for the first 5 years we went down there. Saved us a ton of cash. Just thought I would throw that out there.

Thanks for the info! Good to know I'll be able to do online check-in and hopefully save a little time.

Maliki - Thanks for that tip, as well. I was aware we could do it and we did debate it, but decided that we'd rather pay the $60 than lug our own around. Part if is concern for potential damage to our own seat, but it's due mostly to inconvenience.
