child buffet for a 9 year old

looking at some menus, some restaurants have a "child buffet"...my 9 year old would go crazy knowing his older siblings get the prime rib and he only gets mac and cheese...please tell me the younger ones can eat of the adult buffet

Don't worry. Kids can eat any of the food they want. Adults can eat the kids selections too.

Our dds always choose what they like on the buffets. They are not limited only to the childs section. Once they turn 10, they will be charged the same price as an adult-we are about to experience that on our next trip!

Oh, don't worry about that at all!!! Disney doesn't make the poor under 10 year old go into a dark room all by themselves and only eat that food!

Seriously, there is a "kids buffet" at all the buffets. However, the servers usually refer to that section as "comfort foods". It's usually things like chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, etc. And trust me, adults can eat off that section as well. My husband and son love Disney mac and cheese and they always have that as a side to their adult buffets. Kids are welcome to do the same with the adult foods. Actually, at most of the places, you aren't going to see something in neon lights pinting "Kids Choices!!". It'll just be a section with kid friendly food.

There is no such thing as a "child's buffet". Many of the buffet locations have an area where the counter is lower than the rest, and they tend to have "kid friendly" foods such as pizza, hot dogs, mac and cheese, and other stuff.

Any person who is there may eat from any part of the buffet; sometime I have even taken something from the kid friendly area.
