Child/Buffet dining question

We leave on Monday to go to WDW

We are on the DDP and have 2 kids going ages 5 and 6. We are doing several buffet meals including Crystal Palace dinner, Biergarten dinner and Tusker house dinner, and Chef Mickey's dinner. I apologize if this is a dumb question but are kids restricted to what they have out for the kids selection (ie: chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, fries) :confused3 or can they get things from the "adult" buffet? DD LOVES veggies (I know I'm lucky right?) and would prefer stuff like mashed potatoes, green beans and broccoli as opposed to say macaroni and cheese. Can they get other things on the buffet or do they just have to stick with the "kid stuff". I know that at the other restaurants they have to order from the kid's menu. Just wondering.. Thank you! :flower3:

At Disney buffets, any diner, child or adult, may choose anything they wish from any section of the buffet, regardless of whether or not they are on the dining plan.

They don't have to stick to the kid stuff, and you don't have to stick to the adult stuff either. If you want a slice of pizza and your daughter wants veggies, that's fine!

Phew! Thank goodness... Thanks for your replies :thumbsup2

I'd hate to explain to her that she could not have any saurkraut at Biergarten! :rotfl:
