Anyone go with a child that height before? Do you have to miss out on a lot of rides? I was hoping she could ride TEST TRACK but need to go find the hight requirements. She MAY pass for 41 or 42" but def not 44". I didn't use a proper yard stick but they had a measuring thing at Brusters ice cream for a free scoop so I took advantage to find out her height!

I have no idea what the new Seven Dwarve's ride is like we have a FP for that but I am guessing she can't ride it.

Test track is 40". Sdmtis 38". There are about five rides total she would t be able to ride. If you google height restrictions rides wdw the list will come up.

wow thats amazing! I had my expectations set pretty low. Thanks! I've found I can go to Disney and look up each ride but it was taking forever, will try to get a list on google!

Yes! We were just there with my DD and measured her at HS and she JUST made 40" to get on Star Tours. 40" opens up a whole new world of big kid rides! There are some rides they aren't tall enough for, but 40" gets them on most (only one I can think of at MK that's over 40" is space mountain). Even Big Thunder Mountain and Splash Mountain are 40" :-) You can go to the Disney world page (Disneyworld.disney.go.com or something like that) and look under attractions and it will show you the height requirements. :-)

Also, since you mentioned it, mine train is a lot of fun. It's a very mild roller coaster. We ALL enjoyed it (DD is almost 4). :-) Have fun!

Important to note: if our child is right at 40", ride those rides in am. Apparently we shrink throughout the day enough to make a difference. My DD was the unfortunate one to experience this at both 42" and years later at 48". I knew it was a possibility but she wanted to ride CA Screamin at DCA again and it was down most of the day. By the time it came back up, she didn't measure up...

DS3 is 41 inches tall. He rode so many rides and doesn't realize that he missed some. We wanted to do Dumbo and Big Thunder, but we were so busy with his favorites, Small World, Carousel and Triceratops...He was exhausted. We did take advantage of Soarin', SDMT, Splash Mountain, Kali River.

At 40" there are very few rides that cannot be ridden.

The only rides that cant be ridden at 40" are:
Magic Kingdom: Space Mountain (44)
Animal Kingdom: Expedition Everest (48) & Primeval Whirl (48)
Epcot: Mission: Space (44)
Hollywood Studios: Rockin' Rollercoaster (48)

There are some limits to waterpark rides, but we don't frequent them so you might want to look them up if necessary.
