Does anyone know if the GF Mickey waffle/pancakes uses chickpea flour?

I have my heart set on trying GF Mickey waffles, but just saw that the battered fish at Cookes of Dublin has chickpea flour/ garbanzo, and I can't have that! OH NO! Now I'm wondering what else it might be in too.

Is there any way I can find out ahead of time?

As far as I know, all of the waffles are made with either Bobs Red Mill or Namaste mixes (or a combination of both) so you can look at the websites to find the ingredients in those mixes.

Just a heads up but I believe BabyCakes uses chickpea/garbanzo in some of their items so just double check if you go there.

Noooooo! I am really looking forward to going there. I've been living happily as a celiac, and just lately found out that garbanzo is REALLY bad for me--symptoms like GF, and this feels like a whole new bad change in eating out.

Thanks for the heads up.

Babycakes lists their ingredients on their website. My DD is allergic to peanuts, nuts and garbanzo/chickpeas, too and she had a reaction after a donut from Babycakes. That's how we found out she was allergic to them as well. (We had her tested when we got home).

It stinks; I know.

Thanks for the Babycakes info. I see almost everything they have uses garbanzo, so it's good to know ahead of time!
